Noel is an emeritus professor of robotics and AI at the University of Sheffield and acclaimed for his groundbreaking early work in neural computing and robotics. He is the chairman of the NGO’s International Committee for Robot Arms Control, and the cofounder, with Aimee Wynsberghe, of the Foundation for Responsible Robotics.
